Eat, Drink and Be Merry, at the 2019 Southern Highlands Food and Wine Festival!
The Southern Highlands Food and Wine Festival is certainly one of our region’s top calendar dates. Its move to Bradman Oval last year cemented its standing as a leading Australian food and wine festival, with loyal locals and visitors from all over the state and country attending.
The Southern Highlands Food And Wine Festival 2019 Line-Up
This year’s line-up is more exciting than ever. There will be over 70 stalls showcasing our region’s finest food, wine, produce and spirits, as well as live music and local chef cooking demonstrations.
Expect to sample the wares of various cafes, restaurants, grape growers and wine cellar doors.
There will also be berry and nut farms, olive oil producers, truffle and mushroom growers and jam and chutney makers. Of course, we can’t forget our local coffee growers, smoke houses, cheese makers, beekeepers and egg, lamb and goat producers.
You’ll also enjoy vegetable growers, ice cream makers, sauces and homemade vinegars. Be certain to leave plenty of room in your tummy for the wood fired pizza, Robertson potatoes, gourmet picnic baskets and of course, homemade pies.
Eden Brewery will even be showcasing its new beer, which is a collaboration between Artemis Wines and Quarter Acre Farm.
The festival is happening on October 5 and 6 from 10am to 6pm and is set to be the largest one yet. Tickets are on sale now for $15, or you can pick them at the gate up on the day you choose to go. And don’t forget, if you’re planning on drinking, organise alternative methods of transport with one of the incredible car and taxi services we have here in the Southern Highlands.
